 Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has responded to Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold’s statement that “winning trophies means more” to Liverpool fans. Haaland asserts that Alexander-Arnold does not truly understand the feeling of winning the Treble. The two rivals are set to face off in the Premier League at Anfield on Sunday, with just one point separating them as we approach the final 11 matches of the season.

Tensions have escalated between the clubs after Alexander-Arnold’s interview with FourFourTwo, where he suggested that City’s greater financial resources diminish the significance of their silverware compared to Liverpool’s achievements. I don’t think he knows exactly what this feels like. So yeah, that’s what I felt last season, and it was quite nice. They can talk as much as they want, but I don’t mind.”
